Privacy Policy
Last updated: [DATE]
This policy explains what information Annie Chase Consulting collects, how it's used, and what choices you have. I'll keep it straightforward.
What I collect
Information you give me directly: When you book a session or fill out a contact form, I collect your name, email address, and any information you share about your situation. When you make a payment, your payment details are handled by Stripe, and I don't see or store your card information.
Information collected automatically: This site is built on Squarespace, which collects standard web data: your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time spent on the site. Squarespace may use cookies to support site functionality. You can adjust cookie settings in your browser.
Email list: If you sign up for updates through the Resources & Webinars page, I collect your email address. I use Mailchimp to manage that list.
How I use it
I use the information you share to communicate with you before and after sessions, send written summaries and follow-up materials, send occasional updates about new resources or offerings if you've opted in, and improve the site and my services over time.
I do not sell your information. I do not share it with third parties except the service providers named here (Stripe, Mailchimp, and Squarespace), who have their own privacy practices.
Email communications
If you've signed up for updates, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email. If you have questions about your subscription, email me at hello@anniechaseconsulting.com.
Data retention
I keep session notes and written summaries for my own records. If you'd like me to delete your information, reach out and I'll do what I can within any legal or ethical obligations I have.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information. To make a request, email hello@anniechaseconsulting.com.
A note on sensitive information
Clarity consulting sessions sometimes involve sensitive personal or professional situations. I treat everything shared in a session as confidential (see the Terms of Service for the full confidentiality section). I don't use session content for marketing or share it in any identifiable way.
Changes to this policy
If I update this policy, I'll note the new date at the top. I won't make material changes without making them easy to find.
