Terms of Service
Last updated: [DATE]
These terms apply to all services provided by Annie Chase Consulting. By booking a session or engaging my services, you're agreeing to what's written here.
What I do (and what I don't)
Annie Chase Consulting offers clarity consulting: a process of listening deeply, identifying patterns, and helping you see a situation more clearly so that the next step becomes more obvious.
This is not therapy, counseling, or mental health treatment. It is not the practice of occupational therapy in a clinical sense. I am not your therapist, your doctor, or your OT. Nothing I say in a session should be taken as a clinical diagnosis, a treatment recommendation, or a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or legal advice.
If you are in crisis or experiencing a mental health emergency, please contact a qualified professional or call 988 (the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline).
Sessions
The Clarity Intensive is a focused consulting session, typically 90 minutes to two hours, followed by a written summary and a follow-up call. The session is exploratory and process-based. I promise the process, not a specific outcome.
OT Case Consultation is a one-hour, OT-to-OT consultation drawing on my clinical background and licensure. It does not include a written summary.
The discovery call is a free 10–15 minute conversation to determine whether working together makes sense. Nothing said during a discovery call constitutes a consulting relationship.
Payment
Payment is due in full at least 48 hours before your scheduled session. If payment is not received within that window, the session will be automatically cancelled.
Current session fees are listed on the relevant service pages and are subject to change. The fee in effect at the time of booking applies to your session.
Payment is processed through Stripe. I do not store your payment information.
Cancellations and rescheduling
Rescheduling: You may reschedule at no charge with at least 48 hours notice before your session.
Cancellations with extenuating circumstances: If you need to cancel within 24 hours due to an emergency (illness, hospitalization, or a similar situation outside your control), I will issue a full refund and offer to reschedule. Just reach out and let me know what's happening.
Cancellations without extenuating circumstances: If you cancel within 24 hours of your session for reasons other than an emergency, a $75 fee is non-refundable. You are welcome to reschedule, and the full session fee will apply to the new appointment.
No-shows: If you do not show up for a scheduled session and do not contact me beforehand, the session fee is forfeited in full.
Confidentiality
What you share in a session stays between us. I do not discuss client sessions with third parties.
There are limits to confidentiality that I am ethically and legally bound to observe, including situations involving imminent risk of harm to yourself or others. In those situations, I may need to take action or refer you to appropriate resources.
Intellectual property
Written summaries and any materials I create as part of your session are for your personal use. You may share them with people directly involved in the situation we worked on together. Please don't reproduce or distribute them publicly without my permission.
No guarantees
Clarity consulting is a process, not a prescription. I can't guarantee that a session will produce a specific result, insight, or outcome. What I can promise is that I'll bring my full attention, skills, and honesty to the work.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Annie Chase Consulting's liability for any claim arising out of or related to these services is limited to the amount you paid for the session in question.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota.
